St. Margaret Mary Funeral Planning

Please accept our condolences and prayers as you mourn the death of your loved one. We pray God's consoling presence will bring peace into your grief, and assist as you carry out the sacred task of planning the Funeral in the tradition of the Catholic Faith. 

As part of the preparation for the celebration of the funeral, please consult the Funeral Handbook below for the order of the Mass, the prescribed options for the various readings, the Diocesan policies regarding participation and Words of Remembrance (i.e. Eulogies).

If you are not working with a funeral home, please contact the parish office at office@stmargaretmaryshelton.org or 203-924-4929 to schedule the date and set up an appointment with the priest for the necessary funeral preparations.

If you are working with a funeral home to prepare for the funeral, they will assist you in contacting the church.
